I went back to Albertson's to finish using my doublers and made out like a bandit.
All this for only $4.44. 2 boxes of Cocoa Puffs, 4 boxes of Lucky Charms, and 6 boxes of Reeses Puffs. That my friends is a 92% savings. That's not even counting the 2- $2 coupons off my next order or the 3 free gallons of milk I get next time I shop!

Oh, a shopping we will go.....
Did my coupon shopping today. Didn't do to bad, did better at Albertson's than at Rite-Aid though. Still not a bad day. At Albertson's I was able to get:
Had I not done coupons, I would have paid $140.02. I paid $46.02 for all of that. I saved 67% on this order.
At Rite-Aid, I didn't do as well but still ended up saving 54% on my bill. This is what I got for $75.33 when I should have paid $163.52:
4 Gillette Fusion razor refills 4 pk., 4 Gillette Fusion shave gel, 5- 40load gain Laundry powder, 5 crest toothpaste (4 with free white strips), 2 Sundown Fish Oil caplets, 2- D3 caplets and 1 box of Excedrine Migraine pills. All in all, not a bad day's work.

Movie Magic
The Taylor house has been hopping lately. Lots of things done, still more to do. Most recently, we installed an outdoor home theater. No More Drive-in! I posited this idea to James 2 months ago and he just ran with it. We put up the screen today and are working on the sound tomorrow. It should be ready for this week's Algebra class and the play time after it. We'll hook up the Wii and play some Just Dance 2 or maybe some sports resort.

We have been to the Parma Drive-in three times this month, and thought how fun it would be to do this at home. We took some friends with us once and had a better time.

Had Gpa's 87th birthday party this month, his sister came from Medford, Or, for a few weeks to help celebrate. I was wonderful to see her and to help him usher in another year.

We went to the God and Country Family Festival and had a really good time.
Mostly we have just been trying to get together as often as possible with friend and to enjoy the heck out of our summer.

Walking for a good cause.
Last night the boys and I participated in the annual Relay for Life cancer walk. This was my first year participating although the boys have gone the last two. I managed to walk a measly 4.25 miles, Liam walked 10 and Dallas made 9 miles. We all had a blast and plan on doing it again next year.

T.G.I..T?
Yes, that is right. Thank goodness it is Thursday. You see, every Thursday my husband tutors High School home school kids in the art of Math. Yes...Math. We have 5 kids right now learning Algebra 1. Last fall we hosted a Geometry class and this fall we will be doing Algebra 2 for the older kids. I say we, I really mean my rocking husband and his superior mind. I hate math and I am pretty sure it hates me. So "we" have the kids over and when class is done they get to play on the Wii, play flag football in the front yard or whatever until the dinner I make for the masses is done. I thoroughly enjoy having the kids here, it is great to hear the laughter and the conversation of the next generation. I never in a million years would have thought that my house was the place to meet for kids. I really enjoy having them here though.

Things have been going at a pretty good clip this summer. Once everyone got well (knock on wood) and things got back on track. I got a summer job. Dallas also has a summer job and Liam is getting interested in the lawn care business that Dallas runs. James is still going full speed. He just never stops. Work, School (he's working on his Bachelors degree), tutoring kids in math and still finding time for me and the kids. Talk about a multi-tasker.
In May we had the first BBQ get together with our friends. We had roughly 50 people here most of which were kids. James took the older ones golfing and the moms and younger ones got to stay and play here. We all had a blast and I would do it again in a heartbeat. There is nothing better in this life than good friends, good food and good fellowship.

Sick kids and good t.v.
A man went to see his doctor because he was suffering from a miserable cold. His doctor prescribed some pills, but they didn't help.
On his next visit the doctor gave him a shot, but that didn't do any good.
On his third visit the doctor told the man to go home and take a hot bath. As soon as he was finished bathing he was to throw open all the windows and stand in the draft.
"But doc," protested the patient, "if I do that, I'll get pneumonia."
"I know," said his physician. "I can cure pneumonia."

I took the boys to the doctor and Dallas has pneumonia and Liam has a wicked chest cold and sore throat. They have been lazing around the house trying to get better.
Last night I curled up on the couch and watched a Colin Farrell movie. Normally, I don't like his movies. This one was actually a very good film.
Set in Ireland, this was one of his more dramatic roles, but throughout the movie the little girl that plays his daughter, steals the whole film.
Today the boys and I watched:
I still laugh my self silly every time I watch this film. If you get a chance, check this out.
