While sitting in the shade today with my youngest son and his friend,waiting for flag football to be over, we noticed butterflies. You looked up at a pure blue sky and it was peppered by hundreds of butterflies. They would land on you and walk around, they were in the grass. Butterflies were everywhere.

The boys had a great time gently picking them up, as to not hurt the wings. They start a nature journaling class next month and this was perfect for an introduction in the wonders of nature.
